I cannot say enough about the amazing team at Emergency Pet Care. We took our dog in last night after he went downhill really fast. We thought he ate something bad but never envisioned we would have to make the tough decision to not allow him to suffer as his organs were failing and he was around 18 years old. The staff were so kind and compassionate never rushing any time we wanted to spend with Rocky. Both the vet and the nurse also reassured us multiple times that what we were doing was the kindest most loving thing we could do for Rocky, which was so important to this mama as she watched her son suffer knowing he’s about to lose his best friend. It reassured all of us that we were making the right decision. They even gave my son the blanket he was on and wouldn’t even let me pay for it. We are so grateful that we were surrounded by them as we made this tough decision.

My poor girl was very sick and pregnant. I drove an hour just to bring her here because I was worried// the staff was super nice and very honest and upfront. The only reason I am writing this is because I offered to pay so much upfront and they told me they had to have the full amount. Her condition was bad and she needed almost $3,000 worth of care. I told them I could pay it by Wednesday but they wouldn?t take that. So I had to choose to euthanize or surrender. Even though there wasn?t a guarantee she?d pull through they was going to save her pups. I ultimately decided to surrender her?because I couldn?t bring myself to put her down. I called today to check on her because she was a part of my family. My little girl is asking about her and they told me they couldn?t tell me anything. If you have a ton of $$$ then yes i recommend them but if not just take them elsewhere.

For those that ranked this place high, I’m truly happy things went well for you. Having said that, I honestly do not know how this place stays in business. Took my injured dog there and I swear they don’t know what they are doing from one minute to the next…except for making sure they bill the ever-loving daylights out of you. Overnight stay, tell me I can pick her up at a certain time, then don’t have her ready. THEN tell me if I do not show up at ANOTHER specified time, she gets put down because…Policy. Leave tubes duct-taped to her, say it’s fine, then tell me all of the things I need to do when I get her home. THEN tell me she cannot be released unless she goes straight to a vet from there. Told me a certain type of surgery could NOT be performed on her then kept her overnight again. When I went to pick her up the next day, guess what? Yep, they ATTEMPTED to do the surgery. The ONLY thing this place did consistently and without fail was Jack My Fees to Jesus all while contradicting themselves. Speaking of Jesus, thanking Him that I got my baby to a decent place and all is now well.

I can’t say enough about Emergency Pet Care and Dr. Maye. She was wonderful. She was honest and up front about my fur baby’s condition. She was compassionate. Unfortunately I had to make a decision that I didn’t want to make but it was best for him. He was 15 yrs old and it was time. Thank You Dr. Maye and the staff that was on duty March 18th.

Late last night my sweet adult boy cat suddenly seemed to be in a great deal of pain and kept moaning and growling. Upon inspecting him, we noticed a small amount of blood coming from his urethra. We panicked and googled emergency vet and this was the closest one.

I called and cried my way through telling them his symptoms. They were so patient and understanding and told me some of the possible issues, several of which are life threatening. I took him in and he was found to have one of the conditions that are fatal if left untreated.

They took such good care of him, provided updates, and took the time to explain in detail what was wrong, every step of the procedure he needed, his chances how much it would cost, and next steps.

The estimate for care was about $1300-$1500. The actual bill was $1100 and everything was itemized and explained to me.

I am so grateful to the kind and professional staff there. Y’all saved my baby’s life and I will never go anywhere else for emergency care. Thank you all so much.
