Great vet!
Great staff. Very pleased with the service
Dr New and his staff are a really great team. My pup travels a bunch and has met many vets. She loved Dr. New! I enjoyed him sharing knowledge of (basic) issues that can extend a dogs quality of life and most thorough exam of my girl?s eyes. He addressed all my questions. Great vet! Prices were very reasonable too. Rarely have I left a vet feeling like ?that was so worth what I spent??. Glad to know there is a good vet we can go to in Juneau.
This is perhaps the most poorly run business I’ve encountered in Juneau. Go here only if you don’t mind degenerate veterinary practices that would leave you wondering who they must have bribed to gain their accreditations.
The doctor doesn’t seem to know what the word “sterile” means, and will just glance over your pet during its initial check-up, missing the most obvious problems that I’ve seen no other vet miss. He clearly doesn’t care about the patients any more than their ability to bring in another appointment fee. On top of that, the management treats their employees lowlier and with less respect than the sick animals they pretend to take care of.
The only reason I see that this place is still in business is due to the extremely limited competition in Juneau. If a veterinarian clinic opened up here with half the integrity that I’ve seen down south, they would be shutting their doors in a week. It’s truly a disgrace.
