Just wanted to give a shout-out to Animal House. Please keep up the good work you guys do. You’ve always been compassionate and helpful. And the flowers sent to my house after Bobbie passed were beautiful and honestly helped brighten my day. When we’re ready for another furry friend then I’m sure you’ll see us again.
Don’t hesitate to bring your furry family members here, they really do care. â¤ï¸
Be warned. My fears were acknowledged when I decided because I just wasn’t feeling it at this vet with my dog to find another qualified vet. I didn’t like the fact that they never looked at my dog in my presence. They always rushed her off into some undisclosed area of the building. Today I went and found a new vet. Records were transferred and I was astonished when they told me that this vet stated in the records that my dog does not like to be touched around the owner meaning me. Also they said that my dog bit them. She is the most gentle dog I’ve ever owned. But I cannot say if it happened or not because I don’t know if they mishandled her. Once again since I wasn’t even there. But strange that they wouldn’t tell me that. Have you ever heard of your dog biting somebody and the person that got bit never saying anything. Astonishing. That’s why I do not trust what they are saying. The new vet was able to accomplish almost everything in my presence and they kept going on and on how gentle and loving she is. She is a husky by the way. Loves people, loves children. I have not seen her not show affection towards anyone almost to the point of it being embarrassing that I think she loves them more than she loves me LOL. Please check out my review of the new vet if you are looking for a competent care facility for your loved one. Thanks for reading.
I cannot say enough good things about this vet. On a Sunday, we had an accident at home where my cats tail had been injured. I took him to the emergency vet down the road (GQ Emergency Vet) and after waiting 4 hours, they told me the only solution was to amputate my cats tail- the damage could not be fixed or stitched up. I declined their recommendation and told the emergency vet that I would be taking my cat to his regular vet the next day. I was still charged $700 by the emergency vet for them just examining his tail and providing a bandage that came off as soon as we got home.
Animal House was able to get me in on Monday morning first thing to examine the damage that happened to his tail. They were super understanding of my frustration with the emergency vet, and also of my feelings surrounding the fear of my cats tail being amputated. THANK YOU Dr Jeff Anderson and Dr Brazeal for taking a chance on my cat and not resorting to amputation. Dr Brazeal was confident she could stitch the area together and we could monitor it for a few weeks as it healed (with the possibility still being amputation if it didn’t heal properly). It has been 3 weeks and his tail healed completely and I am so grateful for this veterinary office for actually taking care of us instead of resorting to worst case scenario. Thank you thank you thank you, Mr. Kitten is so grateful for this vet office just as much as me (even after having to wear the cone of shame for 3 weeks lol). I will forever come here and will continue to recommend this office to anyone I know needing a vet.
It’s taken me a while to get the nerve to write this based on the responses I’ve seen in the reviews I didn’t feel like hearing back peddling from Animal house. However I feel people should know my story and not take their pets here. I took my senior cat here for his annual exams. All was well according to them. “ His blood work looks great”. A few months later we noticed he was drinking a lot more water than normal and peed outside his litter box a number of times. we just moved and ended up transferring to a new vets office closer by. We requested medical records sent to the new vets office. Upon receiving these records and new bloodwork done we were told my cat was in end stage kidney disease. Apparently there were markers in his bloodwork at Animal house that would indicate there were kidney issues previously. Unfortunately this was negligently looked over and I was told he was healthy when he was actually in the start of kidney failure. Had we had the right information and the vet not been so negligent we could have had him on a special diet and monitored closely. Instead all we could do was provide comfort care and eventually euthanasia to bring relief to my cat who had been suffering for longer than we realized. Don’t take your pets here. I wish we could sue.
Love this place! I wouldn’t take my fur babies anywhere else. Dr. Connie Anderson is the best she truly cares about your pets. She very informative and gives your animals the best possible treatment. We love her!
