Run away from this establishment, rude and uneducated staffs
I want to thank Dr. Ahn and VCA hospital. I recently found out my cat has diabetes and of course, this was very upsetting because I love my cat very much. The medication was above what I could afford. Dr. Ahn went out of his way to find an insulin that was in my price range. He even called to check on my cat.
Also, my cat can get nervous when we go to the vet, Dr. Ahn and his assistant were considerate of that. I had to keep apologizing because my cat was hissing. But they kept telling me it was okay.
I had to make this post in case anyone is considering what veterinary hospital to choose for their animals. I have not regretted going to VCA in the 5 years my cat has been going there.
Took my 1 week kitten for a evaluation-check up
Checked in at 9pm they charge us $400 m
kitten had trouble with eating it was really weak and we drove an hour to get there because it was the only ? emergency hospital for pets ?
We waited 2 hours for the doctor to check our kitten in even though there was no one in there
Finally they took him and waited another 30 mins to get to the results
Doctor told us that kitten was fine drugged him out and that we have been doing everything right
Gave us a bill for $310 and if we wanted the extra evaluation it would a range between $1000 to $1800
We decided to just pay for the medicine and fluid?s and we decided to take it home, because the DOCTOR said the kitten looked fine
We got home went to sleep 2-3 hours later the kitten DIES .
Why?!!!!! We payed just for to tell me that it was fine
If you care about your pet DO NOT TAKE HIM HERE ! BECAUSE THEY ABUSE THEIR PRICES AND DONT REALLY CARE ABOUT ANIMALS JUST THEIR WALLET .
My mother rushed our 13 year old dachshund Darby to the ER on April 11th, sobbing and in hysterics they spoke to her with kindness, and did everything they could to save our little guy. I rushed to be by my moms side, and they were able to keep him alive until I arrived. I am so thankful they did what they could, and that I made it in time to be by his and my moms side while we made the hardest decision of our lives. They made him comfortable, and passed peacefully in our arms. We were able to be with him for however long we needed, and they gave us the space to grieve.
Thank you staff, techs and vets who helped us through the roughest morning. I can’t fathom working in that environment, you are true heroes.
This place is horrible!! Don’t waste your time they don’t care about the animals just money our sweet cat was very sick but they turned us away because he wasn’t up to date on his vaccines. Are you kidding me you are an emergency Vet Hospital you can’t tell me that you don’t take precautions for this kind of situation. We found a better place that helped us and they were great. Shame on you VCA.
