We stayed at this vet longer than we should have because they do have some amazing doctors. However, expect the staff to not follow up on any issues and have to call back or email multiple times for information, heavily inflated pricing, for the front desk staff to all ignore you as you attempt to check in with your pets and they play on their phones, and for them to be extremely hostile, unprofessional, and immature when you attempt to give any feedback related to their poor communication and operations. Cassidy Hawthorne and Gina Murphy are unfortunately ill-equipped to manage the most basic of customer experiences. Having spent tens of thousands of dollars with this business and now regretting it, they truly fail to get the easy things right and are extremely rude and condescending.
It is also worth noting that I have a similar experience to a reviewer below related to cytopoint shots. I spent nearly $600 on the most recent round of those shots for my dogs and unlike the other times they received the shots, their itching did not decrease at all. I track their licking and scratching with persistent data from a smart collar that is highly accurate.
Note to staff: you have already proven your willingness to make false accusations when others have left poor reviews below. This is also an indication that self reflection is necessary. Best to learn from these interactions so that you can focus on providing the best customer experience possible.
Dr. Ashbran is truly the most amazing veterinarian my family could have dreamed for… I’m a mom of 2 kids and a full-time student with little-to-no money.
That being said, I also care for a feral cat (which isn’t easy) who recently had a horrible altercation with another animal – to me, it looked dire due to his lethargy and limping.
After Dr. Ashbran did a simple check, he found no signs of internal injuries other than a puncture to the cat’s paw. Therefore, recommended a simple antibiotic injection, then "hang back" to see if things would improve on their own.
Wouldn’t you know it! Within a few days, this cat was back to his old crotchety self (which I have learned to love, lol 😉 .
I praise Dr. Ashbran for not pressing the issue of buying unneeded x-rays, blood tests, and/or specialty food… Just the initial necessities first, and go from there when needed.
I walked in those doors thinking the probable bill might be around $2,000 but left only paying less than a tenth of that price.
Great service from all staff and Dr. McDaniel has been amazing with our dogs! Thank you NHAH!
Wonderful place. It is a little highly priced. But you get what you pay for. They’ve always treated my dogs well and the staff there is nothing but exceptional. Especially Frankie who is always caring and charismatic. Will definitely keep coming back.
