Will not recommend this place to anyone unless you wanna lose your dog unless you have $1000 to put down for life-saving treatment if they believe your dog or animal is in an emergency situation like that they will make you wait for up to 6 to 7 hours to tell you, it is not an emergency situation and to not help with your pet. I waited there on Saturday for seven hours to finally get a call back at 7:30 at night telling me that I needed to extend my weight longer I told them at that point I’m not coming back on top of all of that. They want you to wait in the parking lot until they’re ready to see you. If you leave their parking lot they will check you out Stephanie in the front is amazing. I absolutely am so thankful for her. She’s very kind very sweet and very helpful. I cannot say the same thing for anybody else in that. My dog has a tumor that started in his right eye that is spread continuously and rapidly. He is now having surgery to have the tumor removed. If not, he would’ve died within the next 24 hours so I’m so thankful I didn’t waste any more of my time with this place, and I found someone that will actually take care of my dog. Worst place ever and I even drove from Riverside to go there trying to get help for my butt because again she doesn’t hit by a car. He’s not an emergency.
Worst experience EVER! They did a procedure on my dog and forgot to put a bandage. After admitting to this they said it would be a 3 hour wait to reapply the bandage or take him without it. I said i would wait. Then they said to take him without it. I said no. Next they said we were both neglectful and no one was to blame. This is a terrible place with unprofessional people that take no responsibility for their actions. DONT COME HERE!
Made the mistake of bringing a cat that was hit by a car. I understand they were very busy but they were dismissive, likely because it was not my cat. I could have grabbed the cat and carried it into the hospital but he was in pain and meowing loudly. I asked if someone could come get the cat, I expected someone to come out with a cage and a towel. Instead, a technician came out with nothing but an iphone flashlight. The cat was barely moving, and another technician came to help her. Somehow they got the cat to slowly squirm underneath the car seat which just complicated things more. They told me to call animal control to dismantle the seat. I told them I was willing to pay for euthanasia but they said the cat needed a $300 exam first. I suggested they do an exam on the cat while it was under the seat, and to sedate him, and then pull him out to euthanize. They estimated I would be paying $600 + for these services. AND Still, I had to go in and ask for a microchip scanner to see if the cat had a microchip. I spent about 40 minutes here and drove to another emergency hospital, a technician came out with a towel and pulled it out with no problem. The doctor even took the cat free of charge, which is more than I could ever ask for. If possible, take your pets to a hospital with more compassionate staff. I understand that this is a stressful and overworking job, however it was very obvious that the hospital is more concerned about payment.
Don’t bring your pet here, all they care about is your money. My female Yorkie was having a reaction to some medication she must’ve found on the floor, when I took her in she was seizing and not looking good at all. They said she wouldn’t make it through the night unless I paid 6,000$ for them to keep her overnight and give her fluids since they said she was having liver failure, the vet tech assistants and front desk people are amazing but if I could give this place a negative rating I would. This place definitely takes advantage of pet owners who are in a vulnerable position and try to exploit you for services that are unnecessary and extremely expensive. I took my dog home stayed up with her all night giving her fluids, next day I took her to my regular vet and they were able to give her medication and now she’s back to her normal hyper self. Do not let this place fool you, please go somewhere else.
