Unexpected dog fight no open vets in my area. This vet clinic was so friendly, understanding the problem and solving the issue whether it was financially. They would give you advice on how or what could help. They wanted to put the pet first. We appreciated them this vet I would highly recommend

So frustrated by the negligence of Monument View Veterinary Hospital. My foster cat went in on May 2nd (2023). She was given a clean bill of health and they estimated her age to be 3 years old. A few days ago, I signed my kitty’s adoption papers, and today had an appointment with her new vet (Banfield Animal Hospital, which I highly recommend for their competence and they have a 1st vet visit free promo for new patients). At our appointment today, we were told that my kitty was an estimated 8-12 years old (which seems much more accurate for her temperament and for what we were guessing), has a tooth abscess and needs an extraction, and were given in depth info regarding her overweightedness and how to safely and properly help her lose weight.

Because of Monument View’s carelessness we have to pay out of pocket for a full dental work up and extraction procedure, that we wouldn’t have had Monument View done their examination properly. My kitty would have been covered by the shelter’s veterinary funds having been fostered at the time she went to Monument View, but now, because she’s officially adopted, all those costs are our responsibility.

My family also has a rabbit (living with my parents not my household) that had such a significant tooth abscess his infection spread to his eye, and his eye had to be removed, and he very well may not survive if he can’t fight off the remaining infection. While he was treated by an entirely different vet (not Monument View), his case has shown me just how dangerous a tooth abscess can become. By the grace of God my new kitty needed her microchip, which is why I had her be seen at Banfield today. Had she not been seen by them, her abscess could have EASILY been undetected and become extremely dangerous just like our rabbit’s. AMEN for Banfield, because had it been up to Monument View my kitty would be left very ill or even at risk of death.

PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR PRECIOUS ANIMALS HERE!!!

Dr. Ryan was so attentive and kind to my injured cat. Barney had to have his tail amputated and Dr. Ryan went out of his way to make sure he was admitted and treated in a timely manner and with great skill
