Moved to Jax about 10months ago needed to establish a new caring vet for my furbabies,,its a daunting process bc you want to find a caring loving vet for you babies,,, staff here has always been nice but the Dr does seem to be very condescending and talks down to me, I agree with the other reviewer, he makes me feel like I ask dumb questions (my prev vet always said “there is no such thing as a dumb question”),,anyway he always makes me feel like i’m annoying him. that being said, nothing too terrible but now searching for another vet thats a bit more compassionate towards me and my dogs,,,its hard bc I dont seem to be able to find a good vet near the 32246 area with consistent good reviews, there either half great and the other half terrible! 🙁
Dr. E and the Kings Trail staff are awesome, and I recommend them to anyone who needs a vet. He and the staff genuinely love animals and follow up after visits. They’re always quick to get us in the office, and have a good solution for any ailment. Dr. Erdman performed my dog’s knee surgery as well, and she’s been able to get back to normal quickly.
Been going to Kings Trail Animal Hospital for many years. Dr Erdman and staff are very caring and attentive. My dog had been sick for 3 days, took him to see Dr Erdman today, this evening my dog has already turned around and is on the road to recovery. Dr Edman always, always calls to check on the status of my dog after I take him to Kings Trail Animal Hospital. I wouldn?t trust anyone else with my fur baby!

We?ve been going to this vet for over 30 years, since it was the practice of the previous vet. This is not a review of one occasion. When I had to put down my 14yo German Shepherd, Dr. Erdman did not look me in the eye at all. He only spoke to the person that went with me as support. When we asked questions about my German shepherd puppy?s food he talked to us like we were dumb because ?you should just give them basic kibble?. When I?ve had a lot of experience with GSDs needing special diets. My mother who has gone to him numerous times even called up there after one visit because she was treated so poorly by him. The thing that really put us over the edge is that we took two of our cats to see them. They were both frightened as there were two vet techs in the room, plus myself and my sister, and the vet. We explained the situation of why they were stressed. (Both of their owners just passed away within a short time frame.) Instead of helping us AT ALL, the vet walked in making comments about one of the cats weight. (Never helping us or creating a plan about that.) Then refused to handle the stressed cat and kept saying ?why is he so upset?!? I had to hold the cat. He never touched the cat, neither did the vet techs. I don?t normally write reviews like this, but I?m so disappointed in the service provided there over the years and this last visit that it needed to be said. The only reason I gave it two stars is because there are certain front desk staff that have always done the most for us, and I?m very appreciative of them.
