I took my 2-year-old dog in on a Friday as a drop off appointment. They didn’t have any appointments open but I was allowed to drop her And they would look at her in between visits with a regular appointments. She had a fever and diarrhea They did not do blood work on her But sent home some antibiotic and I was told to see if she improved from a possible stomach bug by Monday. If she didn’t improve by then we would do blood work and an x-ray. I also was told to call in the next morning if there was any issues. But they were going to go ahead and give her vaccinations that day. I asked Dr Trip if she would be okay for vaccinations and he assured me she would be fine with them. In the past I’ve had dogs in and when they were sick they were never given vaccines at that time. She had not eaten for a few days but was drinking and would eat some banana. Her favorite. I called the next morning to let them know that she was weak and throwing up. They said they would have a pill ready for me to pick up to keep her from vomiting. When I question that because she could not hold anything down The vet tech reply was that the pill dissolves quickly. So we did what we were told….By the time my husband got home at 1:30 Ruby was taking her last breath. My husband called the vet in a panic when my husband realized she was so may not make it., They told him they were closing soon. He said he could be there by 5 minutes after, they told him that they would be closed by then
In less than 24 hours My dog passed away. I am angry at myself for not trusting my gut feelings. There should never have been any vaccines given to her when her immune system was already fighting off whatever illness she had. She was a 2 year old Corgi. So young! I just feel her situation was mishandled from the start. I will be finding a new veterinarian.
They have always taken care of my pets and I’ve never had a bad experience with them.
An absolute disgrace at this point. This used to be the most trustworthy vet clinic anywhere close, but now it’s become a place of incompetence. Tripp Sr is responsible for the suffering and death of both my dog and cat. My dog was not fixed when he was brought in while incredibly sick. Tripp decided to go ahead and neuter my dog while he was being treated and prior to proper diagnosis. EVERYONE ON THE PLANET KNOWS YOU DON’T PERFORM SURGERY ON A SICK ANIMAL OR EVEN HUMAN IF IT CAN BE AVOIDED! This dog died overnight while ALONE, all due to Tripp’s actions. A few months later he horribly misdiagnosed my cat. He never got better, and another vet in Rome properly diagnosed him a month later. DO NOT USE THIS VET ANY LONGER! Tripp Sr is not what he used to be and needs to stop practicing all together.

There’s nothing to discuss with you. You will find these records under Max and Beezil Lavender. Max died under your care, as stated above. Beezil was properly diagnosed at another vet and has since passed. Do better.
My cat Scruffy received excellent care during a recent sickness. Everyone was responsive and communicated well with my husband and me. I am so thankful for all who were involved in getting my sweet Scruffy well!
