Do NOT bring your pet here. Brought my dog here after he had been vomiting all night. He had X-rays and blood work done and I was told he just had an upset stomach, was given nausea medicine and sent on my way. Next day dog wasn’t vomiting anymore but had zero appetite and was dehydrated and weak. Called Harper animal hospital back and they said he should come in for an injection to stimulate his appetite. I didn’t think this was needed since if it was truly just a bug his appetite would come back with time. They gave me a false hope that everything was okay. Later in the night my dog truly looked like he was on his death bed, vomiting every half hour, pacing and shaking. Ended up at the emergency vet with a bowel obstruction and surgery within the hour! According to the second exam there was a squeaker in his large intestine and his small intestine was backed up causing all the vomiting. I called Harper Animal Hospital to ask for some sort of compensation since I had to repeat X-rays, blood work and pay an emergency fee and was given NOTHING. Not even an apology. Just told the situation had changed over time. To top it all off the first time I was there all I kept hearing was how “short” they were. Great way to run a business with excuses….. do not go here unless it’s a check up even then I would think twice!
Staff was extremely friendly, the facility was clean and I was treated like I have been a client for over 20 years! They are our new Vet!!!
Friendliest vet I ever visited. The process of vaccinating & getting a check up was a lot faster than I thought it would be. My hats off to everyone working here, I feel a lot better knowing my pets been in great hands. 6/5 Stars.
