Won’t be returning, ever. The vet seemed kind, and I don’t want to bash individuals working there but the place is a mess and I was scammed hard. Numerous dirty rooms. Appointments mean nothing because you will still wait every time. Was asked to wait in the lobby for my dogs visit, despite him being ill and it not being a routine check, kept being called in and the room we vacated never was used – it felt chaotic and extremely unprofessional, why did we have to open up a room for people/pets who weren’t there. Was told to leave my sick senior dog there (he was there for over five hours) and he received zero care while he was there – we were waiting for radiology to get back to the vet so they could decide whether they were going to administer medication. When we called after 5:15pm worried about how long it was taking (they close at 6pm) to see how our dog was doing, they still hadn’t heard, mentioned that he wasn’t ready for surgery yet (as to which my sister told them HE WAS ABSOLUTELY NOT SLATED FOR SURGERY AND WE DID NOT APPROVE THAT) and we told them we were going to pick our dog up. I am 100% positive they would’ve forgotten to call us about our dog and he would’ve been left there overnight (or worse since they thought he needed surgery) if we hadn’t called. With all of this mess our sick dog was without food for 24 hours (they told us to wait to feed him to see what radiology recommended) and water for over 7 hrs (he didn’t drink water there I promise you). We got there in 15 minutes and when we pulled up to the vet, the tech made eye contact with me as I opened the door and went in the back quickly (I’m assuming to hide) until another tech came out to talk to us. Took over 10 minutes to "fetch" our dog. Told the vet numerous times that our dog doesn’t eat foreign objects and we thought his new supplement triggered his diarrhea and vomiting. Was told it’s likely an obstruction and he’d need surgery. $1000 later and numerous visits, phone calls, days when my dog was sick and didn’t need to be, and missed work and it turned out he only needed an antibiotic and anti-nausea medication. We advocated to try these first but was continually led to believe our dog would need surgery for an obstruction (with a price tag of $2500) he didn’t have and encouraged to do multiple x-rays ($300-$400 each) to verify he wasn’t obstructed. Did some digging and apparently they are owned by Mars, Inc. Mars is notorious for pushing their vets like Banfield and VCA to have quotas and Mars has also been known to fund their own "science" proving their pet products and medications are "superior" – so alllllllll of their recommendations in my mind are bought and compromised – and this also checks out how we were left feeling – like we were upsold and scammed. Will never go back.
