Gave my senior rescue cat a third chance at life! My almost 19 year old cat suddenly became lethargic and his eye suddenly started bulging out, his FORMER vet told me it was cancer and recommended I put my cat down then and there, and refused to test for an infection, even though I insisted this just started. I went to North Shore Vet Hospital for a second opinion, Dr. Fredericks heard us out, assessed my cat, found an abscess, drained it, and it was a road to recovery but my cat has been home for 3 weeks and he?s back to cuddling, meowing, enjoying the April sunshine, and eating up a storm. I?m so glad I got this time with him. North Shore Vet Hospital has always made time to fit us in, treated us with kindness and respect, and saved my cat and his eye!
