I am new to the area. We needed a Veterinary Clinic for our two Cavalier King Charles spaniels. I was referred to the Buckwalter Veterinary clinic. I couldn’t be more pleased with the care they are giving our dogs. They check all the boxes for what you want in a Veterinary Clinic. Great Doctor. Really talented and caring staff. I am really pleased.
Our village kitty Jewel suddenly became very sick. The vet and techs were able to see her immediately to check her and identify the problem. All staff was very caring and friendly .
After moving to the area I took my cat who suffers with CKD to Coa**al, who not only didn’t weigh him or take his temp, or do anything for that matter, but they attempted ONCE to draw blood and they did it from his neck KNOWING he is agressive and fearful. They did not have bite gloves or anything useful when handling a fearful animal, and they actually had me reach my hands into his carrier to get him out which resulted in puncture wounds and scratches from him biting and scratching me. He was obviously terrified and they handled it completely unprofessionally. Then charged me 70 dollars for the 10 minutes he was actually handled.
Buckwalter however was a miracle. Dr Dickler and staff were so understanding of Binxs behavior and fear. They took his blood quickly and efficiently and when I saw Dr Dickler CARRY him in after his blood draw, without him hissing, biting or showing any otherwise type of fear, I thought he was sedated. No. He was just calm. Finally. This place handled Binx with the best I have seen. We found our place. Thank you Buckwalter.
