We have 3 flat faced furbabies so when we moved here from California finding a vet was a MUST! Fast forward a little over a year and we love Schertz Animal Hospital! Dr. Mossberg took over the care of all 3 of our furbabies but especially my oldest seamlessly! She has chronic health issues and having consistent care and refills of her meds was important.
Today I had to run down there to pick up a medication but had some questions as our oldest has been ill with a flare up with her respiratory issues being worse than normal. Schertz Animal Hospital filled her meds but I was curious if there was something more or better I could be doing. She’s 11 and I know that horrible day when she doesn’t get better is coming but I’m not ready for it to be today 😢
So today at 4:30 pm, 30 mins before closing I asked a technician if they had any ideas or if there was anything I could do better to help her. They preceded to look at Lucy’s records and go talk with Dr.Mossberg and decided we’d change up a dosage as well as add a new medication to try and then filled it right there on the spot. Fingers crossed it helps and we can pull Lucy through this flare up but regardless it’s so nice to know that Schertz Animal Hospitals Dr’s and staff are there for us and care. Thank you so much for everyone’s help this afternoon â¤ï¸ I’m always going to have furbabies and as long as I’m in this area this will be our forever vet!
The staff is great and thankfully has a lot of patience. We unfortunately have to put our boy down because he has bladder cancer. They were so good with helping me in my distraught phone calls of our next steps.
Staff is amazing. Very loving and caring towards our animals.
Dr Mossburg is awesome and Lea the tech worked wonders on my picky Cheweenie!
