DO NOT USE THIS VET! First off they are very expensive. They also do authorize prescriptions from other retailers. Other vets will not be able to get your pets records from this wellhaven because they don’t answer the phone or call back. You will end up having to use another vet for emergencies due to their low staffing and long wait lists. Don’t believe the good reviews from several years ago, this place has BAD customer service.
Dr. Graham is our favorite vet. She connects with her patients and their parents. She is always looking out for the best interest of all involved while being aware of the need to balance financial responsibilities.

My dog Toby had been going to this office for a few years now. In the beginning, things seemed great – over the course of time, things continually went downhill, especially from a service perspective. If I called I either would get no answer and no callback, or when they would answer, they would sound irritated. Over the last 6 months, almost every appointment I made would get rescheduled or cancelled. As a result of this, he became a couple of months behind on his required vaccinations. This ultimately led us to transfer vet care.
Fast forward to today, we took him to his new vet. I brought up that Toby has had itchy/sensitive ears for awhile, and that I had inquired on multiple visits with Well Haven about potential allergen and or infection issues. Each time these concerns were shrugged off and I was told his ears were ?normal for him?. Well, come to find out, he?s had a double ear infection for quite some time with both yeast and rods. He should have had an ear culture brought up as an option long long ago, but it was never presented to us. I also now feel terrible that my dog has obviously been struggling with this for a very long time. Part of this is on me as a pet owner and not getting a second opinion sooner, but frankly, I thought I could trust the expertise of the techs and doctors here. Clearly, I was wrong.
Now, we are spending hundreds of dollars to treat Toby?s ears (which are now permanently affected by this) due to the lack of thoroughness at Well Haven Mill Plain. If you want good customer service, and in depth comprehensive care for your pet, please look elsewhere.
I’ve been bringing my dog, Captain, here since he was 8 weeks old. Everyone here is so wonderful and they treat every animal like family. Dr. Graham is both the most knowledgeable vet ever and the sweetest person. Any pet is in good hands at Wellhaven!
