We really appreciate Dr. Combs, Allison, and the rest of the staff here. Dr. Combs did a lot of testing to find out what was going on with our sweet dog, Roxie. She was almost certain of what it was, although they couldn’t find the issue on imaging and the diagnosis is rare. She got us scheduled to go to a local surgeon but didn’t like the answers that facility was giving, so she reached out to a specialty pet hospital in Nashville for us. The Nashville place had a little communication mishap with me and Dr. Combs took it upon herself to call them and get it squared away. Throughout the whole process she was always in communication with us and the Nashville office, making the whole ordeal go smoothly.
It’s a small facility. Don’t let that fool you or let yourself get distracted by the new and fancy places nearby. They care here. Allison, one of the techs, has always been beyond sweet to us and our dogs. On our last visit, another pet owner came out with his dog and was obviously scared of Roxie. (She’s a pit, so a lot of people are scared of her size and girth. But at this point in time she was sitting and wagging her tail so hard because she loves coming here). The man made several comments about how Roxie looks like she could eat his dog. Allison came out from behind the front desk and sat in front of Roxie to give her all the love and attention and to remind her just how good of a good girl she is.
I just really appreciate this place. For being so nice and caring, and for ultimately saving Roxie.
Doctor Combs and her staff are like family.
My entire family goes to her practice for the last 25+ years.
My dog is very sweet but he can be very reactive and difficult at times. Everytime we come, they work with us to make sure that we have the best experience possible. They are very patient, warm, and attentive, and we LOVE it here!
