Excellent customer service. Staff is great. Place is spotless clean and spacy. My dog is not very social and is terrified of vets but the staff at Halifax were patient and efficient at handling him.
I’m very glad I moved all my pets to this center.
I love Halifax Veterinary Center. The staff is very helpful and the Doctors are great. My puppy, Finley, sees Doc Abrue. He recently helped us through a difficult illness with our beloved Charlie. So, compassionate, actually cried with us as did his tech. I recommend them to everyone. â¤ï¸ðŸ¶
Unfortunately our 18 year old puggle had to pass over the "rainbow bridge". The team here was very understanding and supportive. They gave us extra time to be with her and we appreciate the wonderful care that we received. You all are wonderful and we will be bringing the rest of our pet family in to see you soon. Thank you for making a difficult time as peaceful as possible.
I wouldnt even give this place 1 star if it would allow me to. In the past 3 years I have had to put down 2 german shepherds due to misdiagnoses. The first time I thought "this could have been a mistake made by anyone" (tumor missed) because no scans were taken. If they were, we could have operated and avoided putting the dog down. Now when the 2nd dog was brought there for a seizure we were told "he has too much sodium from eating peperoni" then bring him back in for blood in his urine the staff told us to "get a sample on our own to be tested" and I quote, "he is an aggressive dog/breed and we cant be put in harms way" your literally a vet, that deals with all temperments of dogs. THAT IS YOUR JOB! Even if you are afraid of that breed there are preventative measures that could be taken. How can you be such a coward or just plain out refuse to help an animal in need when customers have the funds and are willing to pay for your services.. Never again will I bring any animal to these incompetent doctors and best believe I will do my best to make sure no one else does either.
