We came in for a same day- emergency visit and they treated us with such care! Thank you! ??

We are from out of town but the pollen really got to my pup and they saw him quickly, did a thorough evaluation, answered all my questions very patiently and kindly. All around wonderful experience. My only disappointment is that they don’t come up when you search for daycares in the area bc we would have taken our pup there! The attendants seemed very attentive, the area looked beautiful and the pups looked like they were having so much fun!

Been a client since 2014 and no bad experiences at all. We use Dr. Armstrong. She is very experienced and very kind! We like the staff there, too. I trust my fur baby son to the vets and staff at Whitesburg Vet.

Whitesburg Animal Hospital is the only facility in Huntsville that has a Knowledge & Skills Assessed Certified Professional Dog Trainer (CPDT-KSA) AKC Evaluator, the only veterinary facility that has a CPDT in Huntsville at all (since Such A Good Dog, Island Dog Training, Kind Hearts dog training and Huntsville Obedience Training Club aren’t in a veterinarian’s office), one of only four in Huntsville that has a USDA accredited veterinarian, Dr. Staci Armstrong, who accepts Trupanion Express, (the others being Dr. Susan Esneault & Dr. Kevin Anderson at Animal Care Clinic, Dr. Kathryn Bradshaw at Trusty Vet and last but not least Dr. Ashley Calvin-Lang at Valley Animal Hospital). (Only Dr. Susan Esneault and Dr. Ashley Calvin-Lang are accredited to provide services to ALL animals and not just dogs, cats, rats, mice, gerbils, guinea pigs, hamsters, non-human primates, rabbits, ferrets, mink, gophers, hedgehogs, native non-ruminant wildlife and marine mammals.)

I take my Akita, who is both my AKC Conformation show dog and my Seizure Alert & Response service dog, here for his OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) testing, such as testing for Sebaceous Adenitis (SA). This is also where he graduated from the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy program. I like how they’ve had the rattlesnake vaccine in stock, which is hard to find in Huntsville.

I wish they carried the Canine Coronavirus (CCov) vaccine. (It has nothing to do with the human coronavirus vaccine.) I’ve been taking him to Apollo Animal Hospital for the CCov vaccine. I’ve been taking him to Animal Care Clinic & Hospital for his dental cleanings, but I may take him to Whitesburg Animal Hospital for dental cleanings in the future.

I really wish the person they had there for billing Trupanion had better training. She herself even says she has only had a claim go through once, because they’re always missing information. She says it’s due to “pre-existing conditions”, even when it’s an 8-week old puppy or an injury the dog has never had before. She submits two claims every time, one with some information but no dollar amount and one with a dollar amount and no information, hence why it always gets denied. I’ve called Trupanion about it several times, and the lady just won’t take the time to go through the training to be able to submit claims correctly, yet she continues to act like she knows what she’s doing and that it’s Trupanion’s fault. When I tell her that at Apollo Animal Hospital, I never have problems with denied claims, she acts like they might as well be aliens on another planet and won’t even call them to ask how they process claims.

Recently, people have had a hard time getting a hold of the CPDT, although I would really like to see her again, oh well.

I called asking for advice and even though they don’t handle primates, they were still kind enough to try to find places for me to call that would help! Thank you guys!! You’re the best!!

Great professionals with caring hearts and minds.
