They are a great bunch of people they really care for animals great guys
Had emergency with our kitty, misquotes were biting her all over! She had a allergic reaction to them. They took us right in, gave her meds, was healed up by next morning. Great place to take your pet!
I cannot speak to the quality of veterinary care because I never got that far. I’m sure they’re fine if one is an established patient/client. I took my pet there because I am relatively new to the area, they are close to where I live, and my pet had an injury that – while not life-threatening – was better seen sooner rather than later. Nope. Not accepting new patients. Okay, fine. I was handed a list of urgent care and emergency vets and that was that. I understand that a veterinary office cannot serve everyone, much as they may like to do so; personnel and resources have real limits. I understand being efficient and professional (I had a public-facing job for decades before moving here), but that does not include being dismissive, especially when the potential for emotion runs so high. As a business that depends on compassion and empathy, Mesquite Veterinary Clinic needs to have a better training program for these things in place for its front desk staff.
