Great facility and staff. I travel often and they accommodate with flexible schedules and quick appointments. Which is very important to me with my job
We took our young Goldendoodle to Dr. LaVergne (Allie, if anyone from their place reads this, which I highly doubt they do).
She was acting extremely lethargic. LaVergne informed us she was more dehydrated than dogs he has seen in house fires and requested she stay overnight to “analyze” her.
She died while in his care overnight. Apparently it never once crossed his mind to assume Addison’s Disease, which is unfortunately fairly common for Goldendoodles.
The bedside manner of this veterinarian is simply pathetic and terrible. Goof introvert or not.
We requested her body be sent for an autopsy (which ultimately resulted in more income for his practice). Clearly that was welcomed.
After multiple calls from us to inquire results, we were informed that it was in fact confirmed she had Addison’s Disease. This message was finally delivered to us from a disgruntled hourly employee he had at the time (which is now understandable as it has to be miserable to work for a personality such as his).
We never received a call for her ashes, body, nothing.
Weeks later we were told “yah, when they are sent off for an autopsy you don’t get the corpse back.”
If google could give negative stars, I’d give it here….if you like donating money for terrible bedside manner with a focus on revenue, this is your place.
