Great place to take your little loved ones. The facility is clean and the staff is welcoming, friendly and courteous.

We recently had to take our dog Zeus here for a follow up for an Urgent care visit we had a week or so earlier.

The Vet Dr. Trout was simply amazing. While the ultimate outcome was us having to say goodbye to our loved one, Dr. Trout was wonderful at discussing everything with us from start to finish about his condition. Outlining all options, potential costs and likely outcomes of potential procedures.

There was no pressure and they did not try to make us feel like we HAD to do the tests and spend a lot of money. She was quite the opposite. She told us that we were welcome to do them if we so chose to but that it would more than likely be a waste of money as his prognosis would not change.

Her and the staff were wonderful at taking their time with us and comforting us as we had to process the information and start to make arrangements for our buddy.

In the end we had to make the decision to say goodbye to our family member with an at home service the Vet recommended.

Absolutely wonderful!!! The whole experience was so fruitful. Everyone was incredibly helpful, welcoming and a lot of fun. Dr. Franco is a wealth of knowledge, John & Kim took great care of Shaila and the ladies in reception were simply AMAZING!!! Thank you all and see you soon!!!!

Be Warned — Media City is greedy and not worthy of your dog. Don’t trust them with your best friends care. Media City may appear to be progressive, friendly and caring, but my experience with Dr. Deegan today proved this is superficial. Bottom Line: it’s all about the money.

In the past, I’ve been lucky to have vets that are generous, thoughtful and authentic. Dr. Deegan is not one of those vets.

If your dog is deemed "too anxious" to be examined, they’ll manipulate you into rescheduling the appointment….and still charge you $80 for the exam even when no services are performed. Dr. Deegan threw in the towel almost immediately and walked out of our appointment. And I was given a nice little bill of $80 for her trouble.

I’ve given Media City many chances. But this was the last straw. During today’s annual physical, Jackie was anxious and was not interested in being examined. My dog is a friendly 35lb chihuahua mix and she adores people, but today she was more anxious than usual. She was scared and hiding under the chair. At no point was Jackie ever aggressive or barking. It’s pretty normal for a dog to be anxious at the vet right? Within a few minutes of Jackie not wanting to be examined, Deegan threw in the towel and said "she’s too anxious, give her a trazadone for next time and reschedule your appointment". I was under the impression professional and educated veterinarians are capable of soothing anxious dogs, but nope, not the case here. Just like that the "visit" was over after 10 minutes, if that.

I found it so odd that Dr. Deegan gave up on the exam so easily and immediately told me to reschedule. But then I realized why – I was still charged $80 for the appointment even though Dr. Deegan didn’t perform any services! And the charge to book the follow-up appointment? $70!! The front desk staff had the audacity to blame COVID for their greed, as if that has any relevance to the situation.

The purpose of the appointment was to examine a tooth Jackie had recently chipped….but Deegan wouldn’t even take a look at it. She placed money over Jackie’s well being, and refused a good faith gesture to not charge for the appointment. The front desk staff wouldn’t let me leave without paying.

    I got hustled.

This whole drama is in addition to the the first, and probably even bigger red flag which occurred last year — Dr. Deegan and the techs gave my dog two doses of the same vaccine (and again, I had to foot the bill). Major lack of attention to detail. I was very upset about that but I decided to give them another chance. I was wrong to trust them again with Jackie’s care. Never again.

All in all, it’s sad and pathetic that Dr. Deegan and Media City Animal Hospital value $80 more than their animals and their owners.

Your dog’s life is too important to give to people who value money over doing what’s right.
