I took my cat to Hillcrest pet hospital about 2 months ago, he was sneezing and had watery eyes. Also one of his nostrils was swollen. The vet Dr. Odet Kaspari-Chiriboga, diagnosed him with an upper raspatory infection, gave him an antibiotic shot and sent him home. After about a month, and NO improvement at all, we took him back, same INCORRECT diagnosis and another antibiotic injection!!! After another week or so with NO improvement at all, I called their office and they recommended I take our cat to their office, so they could prescribe some more antibiotics. I asked them to send the prescription to the pharmacy instead going in and being charge for the third time. I took my cat to Montrose pet hospital, and the vet there recommended to see a specialist. Our specialist’s visit was yesterday, waiting for the test results. ALL of these could’ve been prevented, and our poor cat wouldn’t have been suffering for all this time, if Dr. Odet Kaspari-Chiriboga knew what she was doing!!!! I can not believe how incompetent she is!!!!!

I took all three of my cats to Hillcrest for exams and vaccinations. Everyone there is warm and caring to pets and humans alike. The vet was attentive to our kitties. One of our cats is high-strung and one is very shy. (The third cat is super chill.) Both of the nervous cats were calm when handled by the vet and the tech Daniel. When our cats had their vaccinations, they did not cry or squirm. I heard the receptionist and office manager talking to many of the clients while I waited for three separate appointments. The staff was patient and considerate with everyone.
We are going to move probably 20 miles away, but we’ll probably still take our cats to Hillcrest. They’re that good.

Hillcrest Pet Hospital is the best. Dr. K and her team are so kind and helpful, and they took wonderful care of our cat when she needed a procedure. They are the only office we will take her to, even though it?s an hour from our house (worth the drive for peace of mind)! The the staff is happy, kind and compassionate. Highly recommend if you?re looking for a team that truly loves animals and doesn?t treat customers like a number.

My dog had a sudden growth on her foot. Called her regular vet and they couldn’t get her in for a visit for three weeks. Really? Called Hillcrest and the next thing I knew, my dog was being seen; had a quick surgery; was tested for cancer; bandaged; and home. Everyone, from the receptionist to the vet and techs, seem to really care about your pet and understand the sense of urgency when something’s amiss. Needless to say, I switched. They now take care of everything from vaccinations to toe nail trimming. They’re great.
