Had my dogs wellness check and vaccinations done at ARK today and I was absolutely amazed by how reasonable their prices are and how gentle the doctor was with my dog. I highly recommend ARK!!
I?ve overheard staff speaking about one of the doctors drinking alcohol while on the job. I had to leave because I don?t want to put my pets life in the hands of a drunk. After reading the reviews, it makes sense why a lot of pets of died. You really need to be careful about who you trust with your babies. This place needs to get shut down.
The worst, most unprofessional, deceitful, over-priced vet. Stay away from this predatory business.
Let me start by saying I am extremely disappointed with the way our vet visit was handled in this clinic. This was the first and the last time we’ve been there. I had some bad experiences before with vets, but now I’ll have to adjust my expectations and revisit my past vets reviews. We came to the clinic because our cat wasn’t eating, was vomiting and had diarrhea. Our usual vet clinic was already closed for the day, and this was the only one we could find asap that was still open. Plus, reviews weren’t bad, so we took our chances. Bad idea. We paid for the “emergency” walk-in visit at full price and the doctor (who didn’t even introduce herself) spent literally 1 minute to look at our cat and then proceeded to tell us that we needed to do all sorts of expensive tests and procedures. Seriously, 1 minute exam for $65? What a joke! What can you possibly diagnose in 1 minute? No diagnosis was given for sure, but she left and came back with a whooping invoice for more than $1200. I feel that they thought they could throw in all sorts of exams, tests, and procedures and charge us any price because we were in distress. Also, it was evident to us that they are gauging prices and upcharging was their main goal as each procedure and test was split into multiple small items, sub-procedures, and steps that all add up to this incredible price.
We ended up doing blood work and taking injections out of their long “wish” list. Still, the cost of these procedures was at least 50{a782c19a045bba9617ae336d0c6ce605f26def7007d804696927b9fdf0458d65} higher than what we would normally pay at our usual vet clinic, which is insane. Our usual go-to vet clinic has much better equipment, nice stuff and much higher quality of service, and it was the most expensive vet clinic until now. How they can charge such high prices and get away with it is beyond me. But long story short, $600 later we got our test results and, surprise surprise, the doctor still had no clue and couldn’t give us any diagnosis. And she can’t explain either why we needed to do these expensive tests and injections in the first place. Wow, so why did they make us pay for it if apparently it does not help to diagnose the problem? I guess because they can. Before we left, they sold us yet another medicine (because they couldn’t diagnose the issue and didn’t know what else to do) that should help with diarrhea and asked us to come back next week for another check-up, which will surely include about $500+ worth of worthless tests. Oh no, thank you, no way we are coming back. We came for help for our sick cat and ended up paying for nothing. And worst of all is that our cat still does not feel any better. Thank you for nothing, we are going to our usual trusted vet clinic tomorrow morning for real treatment.
This vet clinic is a complete rip-off, they should be ashamed of themselves. And by the way, they do blood work “in-house”. Our vet clinic always uses a professional lab. We have compared the results with previous ones, and not only are they way different, but their results miss many tests that were included in our previous professional lab work. Seeing these discrepancies, I don’t believe that their tests are correct nor that they are valid. So, to summarize, they sold us expensive medicine and tests that we apparently didn’t need and didn’t help to remedy our pet’s health issues. I do not trust their test results at all and will have to redo them again. And the worst part is, our cat is in distress and is feeling even worse than before we came to this clinic. Stay away from this place by all means. Zero-star rating.
