I have known Dr. Bassi since 2017. I appreciate and trust his knowledge and care for the animals.
The vet techs and assistants are very involved as a team as well.
I am a dog trainer.
He has treated 8 of my personal dogs and 5 cats over the years.
He also has treated rescue dogs that I was working with.
His professional and caring approach to the animals has shown from 2017 onward.
I appreciate Sand Canyon Animal Hospital and highly recommend and refer clients there.

I am a brand new client as my current vet couldn’t fit me in for an appointment for two days. The vet and his technicians are wonderful. I have been there twice in the past week, once for a foxtail in my dog’s nose and yesterday for a rattlesnake bite. Both times they took me on an emergency basis with no prior appointment. As a team, everyone worked very well together. They showed definite concern and sense of urgency, kept me informed the whole time and stayed 2 hours past closing time to make sure that it was safe to take him home. One tech stood by his bed, cradled him while holding an oxygen mask to his face and ice packs on his body to bring down his fever. This morning the office called as soon as they opened to check on him. I would highly recommend them.
Our experience at Sand Canyon Animal Hospital was great. The vet techs were friendly, accommodating, and most important for me, they know how to work with bully breeds. They took such good care of our 14 year old Staffordshire Terrier; she was not traumatized at all. The vet was clear in his explanations. My only quibble is that it is expensive, but I guess that is normal these days.
I have had varied experiences with vets. Dr. Bassi is going to be my go to vet going forward.
