Unbelievably incompetent. Took my dog in because of irritated skin. Was sold omega-3 supplements for dry skin. A couple weeks later it continued to get worse, so I took him in again. Was prescribed antibiotics thinking it in could be an infection. After a few weeks later it still continued to get worse, so I took him in for a third time, and was prescribed a steroid citing it was probably allergies. After three weeks on the steroids it continued to get worse. So now over two months later and three visits my dog’s condition has become severe, with bald patches and lesions.
Finally got him into a different vet today. Come to find out he has mites. Easy to treat and even easier for a qualified vet to diagnose. I am livid that my dog has suffered needlessly for so long.
I was new to the area and found a vet for my two dogs to get their annual heartworm shot. When I booked the appointment I said for the 1 year heartworm shot. I know this because the dogs have to take a pre test to make sure they don’t have heartworm before and they’ve ALWAYS gotten the one year as I requested when making the appointment. During the appointments things were discussed including heartworm and nothing was offered like 6 months or 1 year so no problem. Then as I’m leaving they give me the brochure for the date for next shot and it’s 6 month! They are MILKING appointments and I called them and told them so. I’m not going to give my dogs more shots then necessary. Read google reviews they are true.oh yeah toenail trim 25$ and it’s not short at all.Dr. Armano is good.
Have always got great service, My family has been taking our animals there for years. Great vet for your pets.
Have taken my pets here for a couple of years and everytime there has been an issue. I would not recommend this vet.
