They are always swamped but somehow always show they care. Doc was straight with us and staff were diligent and kind.

We did not have a great experience here. Our dog was hit by a car and rushed to the clinic by one of our friends. By the time we arrived, she had already passed. The techs that we interacted with just didn?t seem to care about our girl and her story since she was a lost cause. Everything felt extremely rushed and we were being prompted to fill out paperwork and pay for her ashes immediately. What good does new patient paperwork do if the dog is dead?? The questions ask ?how did you hear about our clinic, what are you bringing your dog in for??. Feels pretty insensitive to those facing a loss. Maybe reevaluate and modify the required paperwork in these situations. Also, if someone is trying to talk about their dog and honor their memory, it would be helpful for staff to seem engaged in the conversation. The worst night of our lives could have been a little bit better with some compassion. I know that the staff tried their best to save our girl, and they were not unprofessional by any means. However, they could use a lesson on empathy and lending a listening ear, rather than trying to rush out of the door and seeming uncomfortable with our grief.

Our little girl got hurt pretty bad. By the time we got there, they couldn’t save her, so I don’t blame them for that. I do however blame them for having absolutely no empathy for us. All they wanted from us was to fill out the paperwork, which included things like “how did you hear about us?” and pay for cremation. You were the closest animal hospital. That’s why I’m here. This stuff can wait, my little girl is gone. When we talked about her and tried to tell stories, we basically got eye rolls and dismissive “k.” Very bad care from what are supposed to be healthcare professionals on the worst day of our lives. Maybe try some basic compassion.
