After not calling me back two days in a row, they informed me I could pick up my cats medication refill. I travel almost 30 minutes to get it only to be told that I need to make an appointment for $200 bloodwork to get one months supply.
I had an appointment today where I had to adjust my schedule to make it work. Prior to the appointment I had to give my cat some calming medicine a couple hours prior to the appointment which is no easy task with my cat. I received a call a couple hours prior saying there were several cancellations prior to my appointment and asked if I would be able to come in earlier. I stated I got off work at 4:30 but sometimes my shift goes over because I work in a call center. I said I could try to aim for 5 (my appointment was at 5:15). Apparently there was an appointment at exactly 5 and honestly the guy seemed annoyed I couldn’t come in earlier. Then my job does in fact go over on time and I get off at exactly 5:15 so I called ahead saying I could be there in 10 mins could they please keep my appointment my cat was already medicated. The receptionist (different from earlier) goes and asks the vet and
comes back and says they can’t take me. 10 mins, after a whole fiasco of trying to get to the appointment. That medicine I give to my cat is not cheap and I was bringing her in for a health concern, not a comprehensive exam.
