Let?s start off with the positives. Very easy to schedule an appointment, and the communication in the forms of text and email is excellent. The technicians are friendly, and the doctor is extremely informative. Great pace to the visits, vaccines are distributed quickly, and the follow up comes very fast. The next steps are made very clear and the prices of visits and medications are more than fair.
But I have a few issues.
First off, it?s still April of 2020 at this location. While I understand having to wear a mask, I really don?t see the need for STILL having curbside pickup, and still having to call to enter the building. My wife and I both go the appointment, but only one person is allowed to go in, and the other one isn?t even allowed to wait in the large waiting room. I had to sit in my car and go on FaceTime to hear what was going on during the visit. Too much Covid paranoia in play. Might just be time to let some of it go, seeing as we are 3 years into Covid, and most of us are vaccinated.
Second. The doctor acts like my dog is the first dog who?s ever jumped around when excited. He certainly gets a little too excited, I agree, but the doctor keeps telling us that we are going to ?have a lawsuit on our hands? if we don?t get control of his jumping. We have our dog on a tight leash, he doesn?t jump on people in public. Not really professional to tell clients they are going to get sued.
The doctor also scolded my wife today about the dogs weight ?I TOLD YOU THIS SUMMER that he was too heavy? she said with condescension and frustration in her voice?Like..,ok, we will work on it, but we don?t need to be talked to like we are children here. We pay for advice and guidance, don?t really feel like being treated like we are stupid. Just the facts next time please.
The staff always shows great care and concern for the needs of my cats.
This is a remarkable veterinarian clinic. Really expert doctors. Julia Carter is extraordinarily talented. And I actually love the team. They are very caring and compassionate about the animals so I feel like I?m in excellent hands and would recommend them without reservation.
