5 Reviews on “Calusa Veterinary Center”
Went to Calusa last evening with an emergency visit for my dog. Everyone was extremely nice, professional and thorough. Dr Goldberg was awesome, explaining the issues and treatment plan. Her bedside manner was also very helpful and reassuring. Also want to commend our vet tech (sorry I forgot his name, as I was stressed). He was very helpful and also answered our questions. Thank you Calusa for your great staff and thoroughness with follow up call today!
Was able to be seen quickly in an emergency situation and all staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. They made sure my dog was safe and well enough to be taken home without any risk to his health.
I need to thank you Dr. Fuentes for being just not just a great dental surgeon but a compassionate and understanding person! Very responsive and attentive with his patients and owners!
Worst experience I’ve ever had regarding any type of medical care. The woman at the front desk was the only one who seemed to care about my dog. The Vet was very unprofessional and was going to send me home without performing any basic tests such as blood work or looking at electrolytes. I spoke to multiple vets about this since and all of whom were absolutely baffled by what was done here. I don’t want to get into too many details but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.
If I didn’t suggest them to re-examine my dog who knows if he’d be here today. He was clearly having trouble breathing and it’s very concerning that something so obvious could be missed. It was an argument to get the tests he needed and the entire time I felt as making money was more important than my dogs health and well being. I called to let them know about my experience and was told that I would receive a call back but never have.
I was given and paid for a lot of medication all of which my dog didn’t need or use. I’m very happy to say that my dog is doing better now thanks to my primary vet. I never write reviews but I am so appalled and disappointed with the service and professionalism that I found it necessary to help others avoid the horrific experience I had.
