Didn’t even get the chance to meet the vet because the staff was so rude. Walked in told her my name and pet’s name and she didn’t even acknowledge me. Was waiting there 5 minutes before a word was spoken to me while the staff all chatted in the room behind the desk. Not only that.. the office reeked of cigarette smoke. I expect a friendly staff who seem to really love animals. I will not take my dog to a vets office who I do not feel comfortable in and this certainly wasn’t a place I felt comfortable in. I have never just walked out of an appointment before. So disappointing. I’m sure Lucy is a great vet but unfortunately her staff doesn’t do her any favors.
Do not take your pet here if there is an emergency. They killed our cat today by giving him a deadly shot of the antibiotic convenia without even knowing what was going on. I looked up this medicine and one of the side effects is DEATH.. They killed our beloved sphinx cat. They gave him the shot, then told my boyfriend to leave to an emergency. He died in my boyfriends lap right after. When my boyfriend returned to dispose of the body, the ladies were outside smoking and mocked him saying, "he’s back". So rude and unprofessional. NEVER EVER TAKE YOUR PET HERE.
Please do believe the negative reviews here. They will overcharge you, and they do not care about your pet.
Surroundings of the vet clinic is really bad too and smell really bad. I went inside to ask for some information, as I walked inside I saw one of the front desk person smoking. The room of the clinic smells like a ciggarette and I feel like Im being exposed to secondhand smoke. Terrible place.
Wonderful place Dr is really knowledgeable, Have taken my dogs here since moving to fl. Highly recommend
