2/15/23- My review from 3 weeks ago was only 2 stars because of the negative experience I had with Dr Gordon. Today, however, my boy was back and saw Dr Edelson and Rodrigo. Dr Edelson reached out to me after my negative experience last time and apologized and offered to see my boy again in order that he and the staff might provide a more positive vet care experience. Today’s visit was the complete opposite of the last visit. Dr Edelson could not have been more kind, understanding, comforting and supportive. The same can also be said for Rodrigo who is soon to be a vet in his own right. They assured me they will care for my boy as if he were their own and that if I ever needed anyone, they were only a phone call away. Thank you to Dr Edelson, Rodrigo, Hope and all the staff who went out of their way to make this a positive vet visit experience.
Took my dog back today to Imperial Point for another emergency issue. He is older and his teeth are bad, so of course that topic was a source of conversation during the visit as a possible source of infection. I explained to Keith Gordon, DVM that my dog has had behavioral issues his whole life so regular vet visits were not something that was done routinely. The vet didn’t sugar coat the fact to me that his teeth are bad but what was particularly disturbing was that after he left the room I clearly heard him speak to another member(s) of the staff (obviously loud enough for me to hear) about the poor state of his teeth. I even heard the other staff member comment on it. When the tech Andy came back in the room, I was very upset and explained what happened. She profusely apologized and agreed that the loudness of the conversation outside of the examination room and the judgement it rendered was not appropriate. She even apologized again at the check out desk. When you take your pet to the vet, the last thing you expect is to be humiliated or made to feel badly as a pet parent.
Dr Gordon is the best. Lily got all the care she needed and was treated like a baby. I was unable to get the stool sample to them within two weeks, and they were very understanding and still accommodated me. Highly recommend

My beautiful baby Mama. She had to be put down due to a severe eye injury. Dr. Edelson, Dr. Gordon and staff were all extremely compassionate. Dr Edelson and Hope helped to get us and Mama thru this very heartbreaking ending to the most wonderful 14 years with caring and patience. We could not be more grateful for their superior service.
