Do you guys handle bearded dragons?
I wish I could give them a thousand stars! Dr Maxwell and her staff are simply amazing! I arrived at Ark Animal Hospital with my 12 week old seriously ill puppy, Maggie. I had taken Maggie to another vet the day before because I was very worried about her, but that vet did nothing to help Maggie. In fact Maggie got critically worse later in the night. Dr Maxwell was recommended to me the next morning so I took her there. As soon as the vet tech (I’m sorry I can’t remember his name) took one look at Maggie he whisked her away. Maggie ended up spending several nights in their care. I have no doubt that Dr Maxwell saved Maggie’s life. The entire time Dr Maxwell stayed in contact with me giving me updates. She was so kind and took the time to explain Maggie’s condition to me. Now Maggie is thriving and playful.
Two weeks later I had to board Maggie due to a previously scheduled trip. I decided to board her with the wonderful people at Ark. They took such good care of her! Maggie and I are so fortunate to have found Dr Maxwell and her wonderful staff. I have another 2 yr old pup and he will be switching to Dr Maxwell as well. ♥ï¸
HORRIBLE !! Please never take any of your animals here. This vet is horrible to animals and mishandle and treats them.
Dr Maxwell is fantastic! First saw her in February for my dog’s annual exam based on a friend’s referral. Have a 12 year old rat terrier who is diabetic so that’s always a concern. Last night he starting peeing with blood in the urine. Called the doctor this morning & even though she was slammed with appointments she said to bring him in. Thought we’d have to leave him, but she saw him right away, explained the treatment plan (sedation, xrays etc) & the cost. After an hour (we went & had breakfast) we went back & she delivered great news. A urinary infection so no surgery was going to be needed. Didn’t waste money with unnecessary tests since she was able to diagnose from the sample we brought & the xrays she took. Provided medication & we were on our way. Following up in 10 days with just a urine sample. Maybe because we were an existing client we were able to get Willie in right away. Whatever the reason, Dr Maxwell & her staff are wonderful people & we thank them for their caring & compassion. ðŸ•â¤
