I had brought my dogs here for several years and had a good experience, but the last year things went really down hill. Some of the front desk staff was extremely rude, very short on the phone. It wasn’t a one time experience, but became more often than not. The final straw was when it took weeks and repeated calls and e-mails to get a response from Dr. Gilbert when I voiced concerns about my dog’s condition (which he had been seen several times for). After that complete lack of care or concern, I vowed never to bring my babies here again.
Dr. B is the best and you can truly see that he loves animals. Dr. Gilbert is nothing but short, and did not deliver what was promised.
There is a lack of communication on what the expectation is from the owner and when asked about why an important information was not communicated to the owner, the staff becomes short. This left me, as the owner frustrated. No apologies, however, they expect you to abide by their scheduling rules, which was not communicated clearly.
The exam room has this strong pee odor.
Very friendly staff, prices same as most vets east side of the river and they took care of my pet and seemed genuinely concerned about their health
