First time at Banfield today and my experience was not great. First I’d like to say the doctor was great but the over all staff was not. Banfield offers a first time pet exam for free if you present a coupon? My girlfriend took her dog to Banfield for his first exam and they did not ask for said coupon to be presented but went ahead and gave her the first exam free regardless. I had my cat examined a few tests done. When i paid the final bill it was $152 after paying and leaving looking at my receipt for everything I was charged a $66 fee for the examine.
After walking back in and asking for a refund and getting the good ol excuse of basically telling me that all sales are final and that because i didn’t present the coupon to them at the time which by the way has no barcode or anything on it its literally a bunch of text in an email you get stating you get a free exam on your first visit. So what’s the point of presenting a coupon that does absolutely nothing why not just honor everyone who brings their pet in for the their first examine and just give them it for free. I will not be coming back here I really enjoyed the doctor she was very nice but the staff is awful.
