Taking your furbaby to the vet for anything other than a check-up is always a scary experience. But everyone at Animal Doctors of South Tampa puts you at ease as soon as you walk through the door. Those at the check-in are so calming, pleasant, and compassionate you immediately calm down. And the knowledgeable Veterinarian and Assistants are so tender and loving with your pet you know they are in the best hands. I’m so grateful for having such a great place to treat my furbabies! ?
We?ve been to a couple of clinics over the years, but Animal Doctors of South Tampa has been the best by far. The front desk staff, techs, and vets are all welcoming and careful. We feel that they make every decision with our dog?s best interest in mind. Prices are affordable and walk-in appointments are convenient. They get busy so get there early!
I would recommend Animal Doctors of South Tampa to anyone. My most recent experience was amazing and I?ve already told several people about it. I went in with a sick cat and the empathy from the staff was so comforting. They provide multiple options for care and never push the most expensive one. I ended up there three days in a row with my sick cat, but on day two an X-ray was performed and was discovered she had swallowed something that was thankfully not wrapped around her intestines and didn?t need surgery, but required us to come back again to make sure she passed it with no further issues. When we arrived on the third day Dr Putnam knew I had a birthday party to take my son to so she was quick to take us back for another X-ray as soon as we walked in. Once she read the results she was able to deliver some great news that the cat should pass the object within the next several hours. I was so relieved and Dr Putnam was as excited as we were that the news that day was so positive. I left that day so grateful for her and the assistant?s kindness they showed us during our multiple trips and how quickly they were able to help us get the answers we needed. I hope I never have to go back because my cat is sick again, but will definitely be back for all of her routine visits and ask for Dr Putnam.
