This was truly one of the worst experiences we have had at a vet. It would be a book if I wrote about everything that went wrong so I will just say there is thorough and then there is overkill. They ordered a ridiculous amount of tests for our elderly dog. They also have some "controversial" medical advice. The cost of their services are astronomical. The front desk also got our basic info wrong and could have better phone etiquette. Just find someone else to take care of your beloved pet. If you go, just be prepared for outrageous bills, over testing and over prescribing. They were not a fit for us.
Btw, I will be returning the supplements you sold my husband.
Circle of Life Animal Hospital has been my family vet for more than 20 years. Dr. Palma has seen a wide array of cats and dogs over the year and provided the very best care. And, when there were times that we came to her with an odd issue–something outside the norm–she was always creative in her solutions that worked well. We are grateful for Dr. Palma and her dedicated staff for all they do for our family!
Switched here because it was closer to my home and an issue with my former vet. From the first phone call to the visit the staff have been wonderful. Lisa welcomed my dog and I and listened to my concerns. Dr. Shedin (sp?) Was great with my pup and gave different suggestions for treatment. I love that we had options and I wasn’t pushed into one treatment.
This animal hospital has been a solid stable in the Lutz area for a very long time. Unfortunately, the Doctor who we all loved and cherished, was requested by a higher power, far too soon. They all have been working overtime, to resurrect the hospital back to it’s former glory. They have some exceptional professionals giving everything into this animal hospital. I feel, with a little more teamwork, they will soon be at, and possibly surpass what it once was.
Nice friendly staff who has been very helpful with my dog’s eye infections. Thank you very much.
