I took a stray cat that I found on my porch to this place. It was clinging on to life. I called first they said bring it. They diagnosed it and refused to treat it but said it would benefit from vet care. I told them i was willing to pay although it was a stray. They made me call animal control and turn it over to the animal shelter. Thank goodness the animal shelter said they would treat the cat. They wouldn’t let me leave the parking lot until animal control got there either.

I was visiting from out of state. Had an issue with my cat. I am very used to my blue pearl located in Rockville Maryland which is a fabulous place to take your animal. However that is not the case with this practice. you will sit on hold anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes for an update. The veterinarian will not call you Even though they say they will.. Lab results that are promised within a certain amount of time are late. Don’t waste your time or money. There is zero communication with these folks stay away. I have been to many specialty hospitals and emergency centers with multiple pets this is by far the worst I’ve ever experienced.

I brought my kitten in when she choked on a tortellini she stole from my plate. The staff was very fast, EXTREMELY kind and made sure she was okay! Very pleasant experience

9/6/20 Our 13 week old puppies consumed some wild grapes and began vomiting. One became very listless so we took both to this emergency vet. We were told ?they will induce vomiting and the vet will see them as soon as possible? and were sent home to wait. That was around 4:30 pm. We called around 6:00 to see how they were and were told they were stable and being watched. We called again around 9:15 pm and were put on hold for 15+ minutes at which time, we hung up and called back. We were then told, the pups were doing well and acting like normal pups but it would be at least an additional hour and a half before they would be seen by the vet. THERE WAS ONLY ONE VET ON A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. At that point, we decided to just go pick them up. Toxicity from grapes can cause major kidney problems in all dogs, much less young puppies. There could have been more serious emergencies but we should have been informed how many cases were before us so we could make a decision about whether to find a different clinic.
