I have nothing but good things to say about this vet and its wonderful staff! When I found a pregnant cat and suddenly went from 1 cat to 6, I had no idea what to do! The staff at AMCOC were so helpful and kind, getting everyone the care they needed to thrive. Dr. Simpson, Dr., Behnke, William, Jo, and SO MANY other members of staff have been beyond caring and attentive to my pets, and I appreciate it more than anything. When my adult cat needed dental surgery, they went above and beyond to make him comfortable and calm. If you want your pets to have the love and care you would give them, this is your vet.
Everything ran on time. Everyone was friendly and so willing to help. I felt that my dog was in great hands and I left knowing that my dog got the best care any pet owner could ask for.

We brought our two new-ish anxious pups to their first (non-rescue provided) vet appointment yesterday and we are still riding high from how well the appointment went. We were looking for a new vet after our previous dog’s vet was bought by Big Vet, and heard wonderful things about AMC from one of their staff. I was happy to get an appointment just a week from my phone call. Communication leading up to the appointment was on point.
When we arrived, we easily found parking at the back of the building, and when we entered, the entire staff was so excited to meet our pups. We do indeed have the very best and cutest dogs, so it was nice for that to be recognized. 😉 We let them know that one of our pups is anxious and unpredictable around other dogs, so they quickly got us into a room.
Jesus started our appointment by gathering all the relevant info about each pup. Jesus emanates kindness, and he put every human and dog in the room at ease with his calm presence. Dr. Ogishi examined our pups and with Jesus’ assistance, got our dogs current on their shots. I had been feeling stressed and guilty because they were overdue on their vaccinations due to an unusually hectic period in our lives, but there was barely a mention of it. Dr. Ogishi is a master with the needle, because our pups didn’t even notice getting their shots. She listened to our concerns with our anxious pups and not only provided medications to help the really anxious one, but also suggested ways to manage the dogs’ discomfort in various situations. Jesus escorted us out after the appointment, making sure that the another nearby dog was out of sight while we got to our car.
We are so relieved to have found Animal Medical Center. We were dreading taking our dogs in, and the visit went so much better than our expectations. Many thanks to Jesus and Dr. Ogishi. Highly recommend!
