There is 1 particular front desk associate that ruined the experience and I’ll never be back. I left a message with her that she never relayed to the doctor. I only found out because I called the next day about picking up ear drops for my cats and there wasn’t any record of my call because a specific someone never documented it. She also literally tried to tell me (after I spent hundreds of dollars on my cats ear infections on several visits to Higgins) that I may not be able to call in a script for ear drops (again, which I had done before) because they hadn’t been seen in the last 30 days. It had literally been 31 fing days. So if you want to know why I left. There ya go. One person is bringing down your business. Do something about it or don’t. (Nasty ppl should not work in customer service. This was the last straw.) My new vet figured out the problems with my cats ears on the first visit, and not 1 of the 3 vets I saw at Higgins could do that. It shouldn’t have taken that many visits or that much $$$$.
I have finally found the "primary care veterinarian" for my dogs after visiting countless other offices. Staff remembers my dogs by name, and is always a pleasure to interact with. They’re accommodating when it comes to my dog that isn’t the best with other dogs, and allow us to keep her in the car until a room opens up. Wait times are never long, and I’ve consistently been able to find appointment times that work with my busy schedule. They even price match allergy medications to help keep the upkeep costs down. Vet’s are caring and compassionate and take time to address all the issues and we never feel rushed.
