my daughter took her miniature Yorkie there today. The little thing had apparently had a stroke during the night. it was her second one. She was pretty unresponsive and limp. they had her there from 9:30 to 2:30 without doing much except x-rays and monitoring sugar(?) Charged her $800! Suggested she take the dog to Indy emergency vet who diagnosed within 15 minutes that the poor little thing could not be saved. Did not transfer the record, as they said they would. Another $800! Point is: Arlington should have been able to tell rather quickly that the dog was terminal, without the waste of time and money. We went there for 20 years, until repeated inferior care and inflated charges. Will never go back!
No one answers the phones. Doesn?t matter what time of day, I can?t seem to get ahold of anyone. Doesn?t return calls when left a message. Have been here once before because my in-laws recommended this vet. It?s the vet who they have always used however they have since switched to somewhere else because they have run into the same issue, no one answering, no one getting back to them. Apparently it didn?t used to be like this, guess ownership has changed ?????
This place is just a money scam. Advantage takers of people who want their pet cared for. I will never go back and I don’t recommend them to anyone else.
Called 3 days in a row and begged them to call me as my dog was in pain and Arlington Heights was where we always took her but they could not even bother to call me.
