Absolutely love this place. I, honestly, wish they were full time!! Up front with the cost estimate since they are emergency and usually higher priced than a regular vet visit. I have several cats so we’ve ended up here on several weekends. I have always expected cost to be higher than usual.. but they are always still reasonable! We get in and out quick. Such good care and explanations. A true treasure to the neighborhood.
Our dog received excellent care. She was feeling better before we left. Dr. Lazzaro treated our beagle with a shot for pain and inflammation, a laser treatment, and pills for later. I would recommend Animal Urgent Care!
My husband and I brought a pet here before in December 2019 and met a different vet and tech that were absolutely amazing when treating our tuxedo cat Grant. Flash forward to March 26th of this year, we brought in one of our other cats to be seen. She stopped eating and was bleeding from areas that we could not visibly see. The tech that greeted us were nice until it came to estimating how much it would cost to treat her. Then her demeanor changed.
Unless you were flashing money at them, you were likely going to be turned away as the vet tech stated "We are all or nothing here". My mother is crying, I’m trying to be strong and the egos in room were further compounded by the vet’s massive ego who kept pushing for estimates for a diagnosis. With them, it was more about the money than vet care.
If I could ever help it, I will not be bringing any of my pets back here as the only thing they see is money. The vet tech was all too happy to bring her laptop and card reader in rather than console us during a difficult time.
The staff was wonderful. We were brought straight back to a room after the neighbors dog attacked my chihuahua. She had one big gash I figured would need stitches. After they took care of her she had 3 places that required staples. I appreciate the care they gave to our girl and how quickly they helped her. I highly recommend coming here .
