Dr. Sterrett is our pups favorite. Her and her staff are friendly and professional and always have our little guys’ best interests in mind.

The staff are very nice and knowledgeable. I personally like that they have a televet option for chatting with staff, scheduling appointments, and viewing your pet’s records. It’s very convenient.

I scheduled a meet and greet appointment for my new fur baby. I’m a rescue mom so I search for a vet that my rescues are comfortable with.
Delphi veterinarian hospital was recommended to me and so we tried it. First of all, if you have a large dog that people find to be an intimidating breed don’t go here!!! They were extremely afraid of my dog for no reason at first, she is very friendly and eager to make friends. They immediately acted afraid of her, giving her the upper hand. That is the last thing you do with a rescued Rottweiler.
Once the vet and her tech came in neither one of them acknowledged that Roxy was in the room. Once she began to look her over, she still did not acknowledge her or speak her name. She did not take any of the treats that I had brought for her from home, and she started her examination by standing over the top of her shoulder blades. That’s a huge no no.
Roxy immediately felt threatened by having a stranger stand over her in that manner, and turned around to acknowledge that she did not like it. She did not try to bite anyone. She simply voiced she was not comfortable. Upon Roxy’s vocalization of being uncomfortable, Dr. Stertett took it upon herself to grab my dogs collar and lift her front end off the floor, choking my dog , leaving her front feet completely off the floor. She informed her tech to get a muzzle, all while choking my dog. I let her know that there would be no need for that, and to put my dog down immediately she refused. I politely informed her this visit was over, and we were done to let go of my dog. I would not recommend anyone to take their dog to this woman she has absolutely no skills when it comes to dealing with rescue dogs or large dogs, or any dog that she is afraid of. I am not sure how she made it through vet school!!!
The only reason I gave two stars was because the facility was extremely clean and pleasant to be in as well. Their prices were very reasonable, but they’ll need reasonable prices when they treat animals like that because they won’t have clients for long.
