Took my dog to emergency room vet for a throat obstruction at 3am…My dog was still suffering at 7am. I called Griffith animal hospital so they could try to help relieve my dogs suffering. The rude receptionist said there is nothing that can do for my dog. What??? What gives this lady the right to say there is nothing they can do for him? She in not a vet, she is a rude receptionist.She then said if I wanted, I could come in at 3pm. So I’m supposed to let my dog suffer for 8 hrs because they only have one vet working. They need to fire the whole rude front desk to start with. Maybe hire some animal compassionate people. Steer clear of this place, they SUCK
I am so grateful for Dr. Amram. She perform surgery on my geriatric 18 year old cat. The doctor did a wonderful job answered every question. Explained everything to me. Wonderful and caring. I highly recommend Griffith animal Hospital. I think the staff was absolutely awesome. This is the place for me to take my pets for now on. Thank you so much all you wonderful staff and a special thanks to the doctor.
make sure to get price list up front – and justification for tests. my girl was just supposed to get rabies shot – she ended up getting a stool check for parasites (she just had this done in february) and a blood test with no explanation. she had a wellness exam back in september – she doesn’t currently have any issues. she only needed rabies shot! $223! ($75 of that is because we need to board her for a few days) even so – $148 for what? i am sure there are vets out there who are not just administering unneccessary tests – time to find out!

I have been coming here ever since they’ve opened. The vet has taken care of my babies with alot of care and patience. This is the only place I will trust.
