Dr. Christine Wilkin is the absolute best! My beagle gets so excited everytime we go past the road to the vet and don’t stop and then pouts haha! I’ve never had her be so excited to go to the vet! Dr Wilkin is extremely thorough and doesn’t want to push any unnecessary procedures or medications- you can tell she really cares about the animals she sees! We also have brought our feline friends in for issues other vets charge us hundreds of dollars for, did extremely stressful and invasive testing, and couldn’t find an answer for – one appointment with dr wilkin 2 injections later our cat had no issue after battling a urinary issue for almost 8 months!! she really goes above and beyond – and the best part is she is so affordable!! Old town vet feel/expertise- excellent care and bedside manner- affordable pricing!! Beagles can be dramatic and mine doesn’t even make a sound when getting any shots or blood drawn – she’s just happy to see her friend Dr. Wilkin and sneak some puppy kisses to her!
Love this place! Dr. Wilkins is our goto for all our pets! You get great one on one attention that you can’t seem to get anymore at these bigger practices that seem to be all about getting you in and out at fast as possible. Took our 15 year old mixed collie there for incontinence and was barely able to move around. Did some testing, changed her to some special food and inflammation medicine, and she’s like a puppy now running around the house. Keep up the good work!
