My "children" 4 dogs always get the best of care at Hays Veterinary Hospital .
Dr B is amazing. I do however have to agree with some of the reviews about the front desk staff.
Dr B had been very over concerned with the new Dashuand we added to our family. I think she genuinely cares about her worm.
I took my cats to be fixed, not declawed. I got a call saying they got the wrong cat and my cat now has no front claws. They said they were short staffed and had too many cats that day, but I don’t feel that should’ve been an excuse. All in all it was a terrible experience and I will be switching vets.
We were on a road trip when our dog had a sudden stroke-like event at 9pm. The doctor (whose name I unfortunately can’t remember) came in quickly to help our Samson. His knowledge, experience, and bedside manner were excellent and the prices were very fair. We wish he could be our regular vet if only the commute from LA weren’t so long.
Took our pets here for yrs but no more. Don’t know how front desk people are trained but it comes across more as what can we do to bring the bill up higher by quoting as many things possible that aren’t an absolute necessity for the moment.
