I am so thankful for this veterinarian clinic. I have been a client for over 25 years. They have taken care of all our pups with such love. From the groomer Sharity, to the techs and vets. Thank you for your superior care and kindness.
Brought a dog in that had lab tests done which was showing thyroid issues and needed to get some medication. The doctor then proclaimed that the dog did not have thyroid issues perr the lab results. I sent them an email stating very clearly that per the actual lab, one of the top in the country, showed that the dog had a thyroid issue and explained that the doctor should read the information and learn as thyroid it’s not something you mess around with as I am a functional medicine practitioner for 20 years and understand thyroid extremely well. Instead of actually reading and learning the information to educate as a veterinarian, they decided to never see any of our dogs again because the doctor was not happy with the email that was sent. Absolutely horrible customer service and putting a dog’s life at risk just because you don’t want to take the time to educate and learn. Went to the other vets and they absolutely agreed with the lab results about the dog had thyroid issues. Unbelievably human pettiness.
I traveled with my cat and he got constipated and dehydrated. I called them and they got him in right away, without even knowing me. Great place!!
I’ve been going to Kentuckiana for guinea pig care for a few years now. They are very knowledgeable and have been exceptional at providing quick and accurate care for my pigs when they are sick or in need of a check-up.
My most recent visit, however, was a lot more impactful and has raised my already good opinion of this clinic.
I woke up a few days ago to find my pig, Clover, very unwell. I called to see if there was any way I could get her seen as an emergency visit and was told I could come right away. They took her as soon as I got through the door. Unfortunately, she passed very shortly after arriving. When they broke the news to me I was immediately comforted, given tissues, and told to take all the time I needed to cry and grieve. They still examined her to find out what happened and informed me on what they found. They made me both ink and clay paw prints and sent her home with me in a small box, everything free of charge.
Despite how tragic this visit turned out, I was blown away by the level of care and sympathy I was given. Most animal clinics won’t even see guinea pigs, much less treat them with the same care and urgency as dogs or cats. The fact that Clover was given priority and taken in as an emergency visit with short notice is enough for me to recommend this clinic. The comfort, information, mementos, and lack of charge are even more reason.
