This place never disappoints! They truly care about your pets!! They are not in it for the money! They are truly amazing
The front desk attendant had an attitude as if she didn?t want to be there and she wasn?t proficient on anything. Everything I asked her whether it was about fees or procedures she had to leave to go ask someone. They took my pup to the back out of my sight and started procedures on her without my confirmation. In addition to the trumped up charges they also added a 16$ payment processing fee, so I was charged for my payment. SMH. The doctor kept telling me all these things she needed to do to my pup to try to figure out what her issue was and if that wasn?t it then do this or this or that and running my bill up. I was there for less than an hour and my Bill was almost 400 and she said after all the experiments it could come to an estimate of 1600 with no guaranteed results. If rather ask Siri questions to find a solution than to bring my dog here again. Beware, they only care about money here, not your fur baby. I wanted to leave zero stars but had to leave at least one.
Our dog went into CHF and was getting worse by the minute. I called avenue vet early sunday morning, they said to come in immediately. As soon as i walked in the door the vet tech took my girl from me, weighed her and immediately placed her in the oxygen tank. They saw it was emergent and took action calmly, which helped keep me calm in those very scary moments. This ER vet far surpassed the service i’ve gotten from any other in the city. Dr. Margaret, who is such a delight, saved my old pups life and gave us some more time with her, i will forever be grateful. Beth is also great, she kept me updated and showed so much compassion during the whole ordeal. Avenue vet is a blessing to our family, they care about their patients and it truly shows!
