My family and I can not express enough gratitude for each and every staff member at MVMC. From the moment our puppy, Stella, was brought into their ER 2 months ago, they have been nothing short of amazing. From every follow-up visit, long overnight stays, hundreds of questions, and even an unrelated emergency surgery, the staff has never failed to impress us. As awful as it is to have to deal with a sick puppy, MVMC has made the entire process easier and comforting. We are forever thankful for them.

We brought our 11 year old cat here just yesterday for cardiology care and the whole team was very kind and helpful. The entire process took less than an hour for an ECHO and cardiology consult, and Dr. Lopez was very informative and thorough with her explanation. I am very appreciative for how quickly they were able to get us in and how nice everyone was. It’s scary to bring your pets in when they are sick or need specialist care, but we are so thankful for Dr. Lopez, the cardiology team, and MVMC! Thank you!
The staff there have no communication what so ever , when I pointed out that my small dogs muzzle was on WAY too tight , they apologized and fixed it but it shouldn’t have been so tight in the first place . And after getting charged thousands of dollars and waiting in my car for hrs , I went back to show my regular vet my bill and they agreed some of the things they “did to fix him” was unacceptable and unnecessary , they will be hearing from me and my vet
I have to thank the staff at MVMC for giving my dog a second chance at a normal life. He was hit by a truck a little over a week ago. After an emergency trip to our local vet, then to Brewer Emergency Vet for his ICU visit and tail amputation, we were told the surgery he needed they couldn’t do. We were referred to MVMC where we brought Benjamin for his emergency surgery on his hips which had a pretty sever fracture on one side and a sacroiliac luxation on the other. This required a screw to be placed on one and a bone plate and 6 screws on the other. Though the surgeries and his stay were quite an investment, I’m forever grateful for Dr. Steinberg and his team for all they did to repair Benjamin’s damaged body and keep him comfortable after a very traumatic injury. He is now doing very well considering what happened and is on his road to recovery.
