5 Reviews on “Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic”
Rachael Rae always looks forward to her visits to see everyone at the Aberdeen Veterinary Clinic. As always thanks for taking care of Rachael and for the pleasant greetings we receive at the office and on the phone.
From the moment I met Dr. Fritz, she told me she not ONLY cares about my emotional support dog, but myself, as a Wounded Warrier with PTSD and intractable pain. She and her lovely staff, including Amanda, Sarah, and Dr. F. are OUTSTANDING ANGELS filled with love for all! Thank you and God bless!!!!
I am writing this review for a co worker. She brought her dog into this place and had a horrible experience. Her dog had lumps on her stomach. They told her they needed to be removed and put the dog on a medication. 2 weeks before surgery went back in and was put on another type of medication. They asked her for a deposit for the surgery. I personally have never heard such a thing. The day if the supposed surgery, she went in and was told that her dog should have been on a different medication all along, tried to make her sign a document without reading it. The dog did NOT get the surgery because of how sketchy they were and she had a bad feeling. They refused to give her the deposit back. She ended up going to another vet who did a biopsy on the lumps and told her that the lumps may have grown into the dogs abdomen. She just wants her deposit back because of the severity of the sketchyness.
Shortly after moving here over a year ago we needed a vet fast. My 15 year old puggle showed signs of having a stroke while we were away. This vet was closest and got her in quick. The vet and tech were so thorough, patient, caring everything you need in that moment. I had to say goodbye to my girl that day.
4 months later we decided to bring a new puppy into our home. So we decided to bring our frenchie there. My boy loves it there. This last visit very recent we had a check up and suspected ear infection. While the vet was checking him out the tech was loving on him and he was dozing off on the table. Very thorough, never rushes, answers all questions and shows true compassion and love towards my furbabies.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
Just took our new kitten to this Vet. Upon arrival nobody was overly friendly, which is fine. I just figured since there are about 5 other vets within 15 minutes that I could have chosen, the attitude would have been better.
We provided all documents for our kitten that were provided to us from our breeder. This included vaccination records, receipts from his neutering, rabies certificate, etc.
The $65 physical examination was a joke. She didn’t even look at his paws, nails, rectum, or take a temperature.
THEN they tried to give him a vaccination that he supposedly hadn’t had yet. Something felt off, so we denied it and decided to read up at home and message our breeder. Lucky we did because he already had this vaccination! It was printed clear as day in the health record we provided to the vet.
Overall pretty bad experience. We will be looking to go to a different vet, especially because there are several options in the area.
