Dr. Smith and his staff are a step above. If your animal has eye problems this is the place to go. He’s very receptive to your questions and concerns. My wife and I were very satisfied with the thoroughness and experience Dr. Smith and his team provided.
Dr Smith treated two of my pugs most their lives for pigmentary keratitis. The medication remarkably allowed them to retain their sight into their teens. We were very pleased.
Front desk lady was very rude. I’m trying to schedule an appointment due to my dogs eye swelling and she’s laughing and making fun of me not understanding her question of whether or not my dogs on treatment already and at the fact that I love too far from their office to make a last minute cancellation slot. Very unprofessional
Dr. Eric Smith seems very knowledgeable and has a great bedside manner. His staff seems on the ball and nice as well. Just expect to wait for up to a half hour after appointment time for Dr. Smith to make it into your exam room….same situation during a couple of visits. On the positive side, however, from my own experience he thoughtfully takes his time to do proper and thorough examinations, provide information, patiently answer questions, and have his diagnosis/results/recommendations carefully transcribed by his staff in real time on the exam room computer so upon checkout you can take his report with you. Although no knowledge of his skill with surgical procedures, based on the few appointments to date, he seems to be a very good veterinary ophthalmologist.
